2. What Data We Collect
Account data
When you create an account we collect your email address, name, and organisation name. This data is required to provide the service.
Database connection metadata
We store connection details you provide (host, port, database name) so we can run read-only monitoring checks. We never read, copy, or store the actual contents of your database tables.
Usage analytics
With your consent, we collect anonymised usage data through third-party analytics services (see Section 3).
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We classify cookies and similar technologies into three categories. You can manage your preferences at any time via the cookie banner at the bottom of any page.

4. How We Use Your Data
- Service delivery — to monitor your databases and send alerts.
- Product improvement — aggregated, anonymised usage data helps us improve the product.
- Marketing (with consent) — to measure advertising effectiveness and show relevant ads on third-party platforms.
- Communication — to send transactional emails (alerts, billing) and, if you opt in, product updates.
5. Third-Party Processors
We share data with the following processors solely to operate the service:
- Google LLC — Analytics (GA4)
- Microsoft Corporation — Session analytics (Clarity)
- LinkedIn Corporation — Ad conversion tracking
- Vercel Inc. — Website hosting and analytics
Each processor is bound by a Data Processing Agreement and processes data in accordance with the GDPR.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records). Analytics data is retained according to the periods listed in Section 3.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
As an EU-based data controller, we honour the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data.
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Restriction — restrict processing under certain conditions.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw cookie consent at any time via the cookie banner.
